BRAND GUIDELINES - VISUAL IDENTITY - SOCIAL CONTENT
For The Contended Chef, I developed a modern, elevated brand identity for a food focused platform celebrating family-inspired recipes, catering & dinner parties, and soul food. The logo combines classic serif typography with a hand drawn star anise icon, a subtle nod to the founder's heritage, reflecting the warmth and sophistication of the brand.
A key part of the project was creating a full set of brand guidelines, ensuring a cohesive visual language across all applications. This included typography, colour palettes, iconography, and layout examples, making it easy for the brand to stay consistent across digital and print.
I also explored social content mockups, keeping the visuals clean, engaging, and in line with the brand’s approachable yet elevated aesthetic. The goal was to make the brand feel both stylish and relatable, ready to connect with its audience.
